Abstract
Demo abstract. Patients undergoing single-level posterior fusion were randomised to bilateral erector spinae plane block or standard multimodal analgesia.
Description
Primary outcome was 24-hour opioid consumption; secondary outcomes included time to first ambulation and length of stay.
Blocks were performed by a single anaesthetist to control technique variability.

Time to first independent ambulation was used as a co-primary practical endpoint alongside opioid consumption.
